College Street School
- Description
A group of boys in sailor suits holding a banner and performing a salute to the Queen, at College Street School. The award on the back of the original states 'presented to Ernest R Mullins for regular attendance at school in 1898'. Ernest Mullins (also called 'King'). is possibly the third boy from the right. College Street School, was established in 1893,opposite the present buildings (2008) built 1930 and 1935. In 1937 the original school building was demolished, and the land subdivided.
