This image was not published in the Manawatu Evening Standard, taken on 18 July, 1963. "With the greatest of ease, Mrs Arai, the Japanese television demonstrator for the New Zealand Meat Board in Tokio, tossed the sliced mutton in boiling oil when preparing her special recipe for New Zealand audiences. Not once, but several times, she repeated the tossing." Another image of Mrs Arai was published on 18 July, 1963.
