John George Collins and family rented 2 Waldegrave Street when their Newbury home was burnt down while a home was being built on their farm “Rawea”, 14 miles from of Taihape. J G Collins returned to live in Amesbury Street, Palmerston North, in 1920. From left: Front - Jack, Sadie and Douglas Collins.
