Description

Includes some of the adjoining suburbs near the Railway Station and Queen Elizabeth College. This, the third railway station for Palmerston North, was opened 21 October 1963. It was designed by the Architectural Section of the Railways Chief Civil Engineer's Office and the contractor was J L McMillan and Co. Ltd of Palmerston North.
