He pārongo atu anōPaddocks at the end of Brightwater Terrace

This farmland, on the banks of the Manawatu River, was soon to be developed as the Palmeston North Golf Club. The land was given in exchange for the Palmerston North City Council acquiring the Club's links in Awapuniin 1964, for residential development.
