William Henry Revans Flyger (1845-1908) a surveyor in the Manawatu District from the 1870's to around 1901. Flygers Line is named after him. After 1901, W. H. R. Flyger worked for the Wellington Provincial Government, the Central Government and then for himself.Back row, from left to right; Lindsay, Nellie (Mrs J. H.
