Dated from the 1920s and 1930s, this photograph album depicts events on the Manawatū Gorge road including construction and repairs of the road, removing slips, car accidents etc. The album also contains images of Napier following the earthquake of 1931. The photographs were shot by William (Bill) Brockie. Individuals are unidentified.
