"In spite of Palmerston North's bitterly cold weather today, some 50 Jaycee members, full of Jaycee enthusiasm, turned out for the annual spring clean of the city. The convener of the project, Mr K. O'Brien (third from left), and other Jaycees, are seen here sorting out saleable goods at the rubbish tip this morning."
