This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 27 February 1958, page 8: "Typical of the scene in nearly every yard in Tangimoana yesterday was this one of furniture and effects being dried out in the hot sun. The loses in such goods will undoubtedly run into many hundreds of pounds when the final count is taken."
