This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 2 May, 1959. "No camp would be complete without a cook and Mr Noel Palmer, of Hastings, is the recognised ""chef"" for the party of seven duck shooters who meet annually on Mrs S. Calleson's property at Karere.
