Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 4 May, 1963. "Aorangi proved to be a good spot for ducks when the duck shooting season opened today for these three men and their dog. After shooting their first bird at 6:30 a.m., the men returned with 15 ducks. They are (from the left): Messers A. A. Thompson, W. E. Warner and G. Stubbs, all of Palmerston North. The dog's name is Ralph."
