Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 2 May, 1959. "There was good cause for the smiles lighting the faces of the seven shooters on Mr S. Calleson's property at Karere this morning. By 10.30 o'clock practically each one had registered a limit bag for the day. The shooters are, from left to right: Messrs C. E. Bee, D. Michel, A. B. and N. Wilson, S. Calleson and A. Francis. At the rear is Mr J. Calleson and in front of the bounty is John Calleson and Guy." Another photo associated with this article appears on the same day.
