A Manawatū Rugby Pantomime Horse

Two people dressed as a horse, with the green and white livery of the Manawatū Rugby team walk along Church Street accompanied by people holding a banner reading "Go-Go-Manawatu" on the occasion of winning the Ranfurly Shield.
The Manawatu Rugby Team defeated Auckland 12 to 10 on Saturday 21 August 1976, to win the Ranfurly Shield. The Ranfurly Shield has only been won by the Manawatu team once, though it was successfully defended 13 times.
