The Administration and classroom block, built 1956, of Longburn College, near Palmerston North. It was the first Seventh-day Adventist school in New Zealand, beginning in Waikato in 1908 and moving to Longburn in 1913 as the Oroua Missionary School. In 1923 it was renamed the New Zealand Missionary School, in 1931 the New Zealand Missionary College (NZMC) and in 1966 Longburn College. In 1975 Longburn College, was New Zealand's only Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) boarding school for secondary and teriary students. It still operates today.
