A history of the Polish Army League. Although undated includes information post World War Two on the gifts sent back to New Zealand from Polish Forces, as a thank you for the friendship and kindness shown. It also includes a then current list of the gifts on display in the C M Ross department store window. Written by Miss G C Tennent of Dannevirke, whose relationship with the League is unknown. The Polish Army League, founded in Palmerston North in WWII, corresponded with and sent parcels to Polish soldiers who served with the allies in World War Two.
