Description

In 1979 the Palmerston North Public Library installed its first computer terminal equipment. The coding of about 100,000 books and periodicals, as shown here by librarian Diana Pipke, was the culmination of two years’ work on this project. Diana Pipke worked for the Palmerston North library from 1976 - 1985.
