This photograph was taken from the northern corner of Fitzherbert Avenue and Ferguson Street (in front of the Izadium). The spire visible in the middle of the photograph is the Steeple Conference Centre [2018]. The single-storey white building in the centre of the photograph is the "Little Dutch Dairy", a well-known landmark on the corner of Fitzherbert Avenue and Ferguson Street for many years. The building was demolished in June 1970 when the City Corporation widened the roadway at the corner as part of the ring-road system.
