This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 13 May 1961 "An axe may be a bit heavy for regular shaving, but the razor-sharp edge of this axe is demonstrated by Mr. H. Honey, who cuts the hairs from his arm during the axemen's carnival at the Industries Fair today. Mr. Honey was one of the seven-man New Zealand team which visited Australia for the Sydney Show."
