Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 01 July 1961 "Even thought this method of construction [pre-stressed concrete] has been used outside Palmerston North, the new building of Armaghdown Motors in Princess Street is the first major construction where this method has been used in the city area --- "This method of structural concrete work is not the answer to all our problems but we will use it to its best advantage where possible," said Mr. R. McMillan, the architect for the building."
