This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 10 March 1958, page 6: "At the Manawatu Kennel Club's autumn show on Saturday Mr. and Mrs. G.I. Beeson's boxer was judged the best dog in the show and Mrs. R.M. Cuming's Irish setter the runner-up. Those in the picture from left are: Mrs. Beeson, Messrs. A. Fraser (Dunedin) and J. Robson (Wellington), the two judges, and Mrs. Cuming."
