This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 11 April 1961 "Encouraged by dancing successes in Palmerston North and Wanganui, Judith Mohekey, accompanied by her parents, attended the golden jubilee festival in Napier where she gained four first placings and a second to add to her creditable performances. The placings included firsts in Greek, demi-character and tap dancing, in the under seven years classes. Competing in the song and dance for dance for children under 11 she was first again with a second placing in the ballet section (under seven years of age). To date Judith has gained 21 placings from 23 starts in competitions."
