This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 27th February 1963. "These scouts are seen putting the finishing touches to a bridge made by the boys with only the use of ropes and manuka trees. This was one of the efforts displayed at Terrace End Park on Saturday."
