Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 26 January, 1964. "Over 110 children are attending a special vacation Bible school, which concludes on February 1, at St. Luke's Lutheran Church on Church Street. The children attended every morning from 9 o'clock to 11.30 o'clock and are kept fully occupied with bible projects and games for the younger children. The project is designed to help keep the children occupied during school holidays and to assist with Christian teaching. Seen intent on their work are (from left) Suzanne Naar, Brenda Johnstone, Cheryl MacIntosh, Mrs Heidrich, and Pamela Young."
