Description

William Thorrold-Jaggard was an architect in Palmerston North from 1939 until 1982. He is pictured beside the Waldegrave Building which was the home of his parents, Mr and Mrs Reginald Thorrold-Jaggard who lived in a flat on the first floor. William their only son, was sent to a board at Carncott School, aged 4 and a half, as his parents both worked. After attending Auckland University William worked with his father in the family architectural firm.
