Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 27 June, 1963. "The old Austin truck (top photograph) was given to the Ashhurst Volunteer Fire Brigade by the Oroua County Council. Its value today is approximately £250 and has now been replaced by this modern fully equipped engine valued at £4500 (lower picture)."
