How the area has changed. Fancy dress balls. Freedom to roam. Kicked by a cow. Farming with horses. Liking pigs. Army engineers, bull paddock. Longdrop outside toilet. Adjusting to town life. Saving. Changing values. Few clothes, making clothes, smocking.
