Sylvia Haycock was a long time employee of C M Ross, beginning with the firm in 1902. She was also made a shareholder in 1915. Photograph includes: Mr Rogers, Managing Director(2nd from left); Sylvia Haycock (5th from left); Mr Cook. Assistant Manager (far right). C M Ross Co. Ltd was one of the foremost department stores of Palmerston North and operated in The Square from 1883 until it was sold to Milne and Choyce in 1959.
