This image was taken for a story that ran in the Manawatu Evening Standard on 30 May, 1963. "Two houses at 95 and 97 Heretaunga Street, owned by the Palmerston North Hospital Board, were removed to another site. This valuable site will be used for the construction of a bulk store for the board. One half of the two homes is seen being removed."
