Description

The Globe, Palmerston North's community theatre, was designed by Brian Elliot Associates and built by McMillan and Lockwood, opening November 1982. Shown is the 'backbone' of the new theatre taking shape. The reinforced concrete wall bisects the theatre building and provides a central support for the tent like roof of the theatre.
