"At a farewell ceremony held at the Palmerston North police station yesterday, a presentation was made to Dective-Inspector F. A. Gordon, who left for his new station at Dunedin today. He is seen admiring his gift, a set of bathroom scales. From the left are Senior-Sergeant J. Henderson, Detective-Inspector Gordon and Superindendent E. W. Mahood."
