This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 14 July 1958, page 6: "Late on Saturday afternoon a fire broke out in the factory of Metalcraft Industries Ltd. At the corner of Church and Snelson Streets. The fire was confined to one corner of the building, but it burst through the roof and damaged stock stored on the second floor. A ground floor workroom was also badly damaged."
