This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 1 October, 1959. "These seven pupils of the College Street School acted as mannequins at a special children's parade yesterday in the school hall, modelling to full advantage the 60 garments made by the mothers of the school, and the 24 garments displayed by courtesy of C. M. Ross. From the left are shown John, Jennifer, Rataa, Sally-Anne, Susan, Jan and Wayne."
