Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 3 July, 1963. "With the rapid expansion which is at present taking place in the city, the construction of new buildings is inclined to be overlooked. With space becoming more and more of a problem, the buildings of necessity are going higher. The new insurance building in the Square is an example. At present a mass of scaffolding hides the three floors which have already been built with more to follow."
