This cart was originally owned by Chung Lee who sold vegetables and fruit in the Dannevirke area in the 1960s. This cart was one of the many old horse-drawn vehicles that the Manawatu Society for the Preservation of Horse-drawn Vehicles found and restored to original condition. The cart was intended to be donated to the Norsewood Museum.
