Pegdens furniture factory fire, The Square
- Description
Shown here are the remains of Pedgden's furniture workshop and factory after the fire of 5 April 1910. The fire was said to have been one of three set by Joseph Powelka, an escaped prisoner. Powelka denied the charges but was convicted of the fires.
