Huia Heslop Mackrell in uniform, on service overseas during World War One. Said to be taken prior to Gallipoli so may be in Egypt.

Huia Mackrell (1893 - 1958) was an engineer who worked for Councils and private businesses, including the Palmererston North City Council as a building inspector 1936 - 1946. He also served in World War Two.
