Fifth photograph, in a series of aerial shots, showing what was to become the Awapuni suburb. Botanical Road runs through the centre of the photograph to the Palmerston North Golf Club Golf . The Manawatu River can be seen in the foreground. In 1964 the Palmerston North City Council acquired the Golf Club for residential development and the Club relocated to the end of Brightwater Terrace.
