Translated from Danish on rear of photograph, wrotten by Olga Monrad, daughte rin law of Bishop Monrad: “View from the living room window, the lawn nearest, flower border, further gardens with fence to the plain [paddock]. To the right the agoon with forest opposite and grazing [for] horses on the space in front. The garden has grown a lot since the photo and more stumps have been removed.”
