Property of Bishop Monrad, former Prime Minister of Denmark and family. Translated from Danish on rear of photograph, written by Olga Monrad, daughter in law of Bishop Monrad: "The yard is facing the paddock 10 minutes walk straight ahead brings you to the river. On this side of the fence you see our paddock the fence, it’s left side fence, some way on this side [in] the tree[s] in the foreground is the right side fence where the forest starts again. Right opposite across the river is a lovely piece of land, some of the best as may be for sale. Shall I forward more information, it would be matchless to have you as a neighbour.”
