GML House were located at 375 Main Street according to the 1959 Palmerston North phonebook. This is the first phonebook that the company appears in. They were drapers, and according to the signs in the windows they specialised in "Irish Linen and Trousseau". They were the local agents for the Shamrock Line Co. Ltd.
