Memory Lane - Pages of past revealed

Description

Journalist Tina White's weekly "Memory Lane" article in the Manawatū Standard. When Darren Trask started renovating his country cottage, he found historic newspapers dated 1887 in the wall linings. The cottage, address 1033B Napier Road, is classified as a category II Historic place by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust: "a place of historical or cultural heritage significance or value".
