Description

This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 17 July 1961 "First in line for tickets in the Manawatu-France Rugby match, these enthusiasts settled for a long wait this morning. The group headed the queue for tickets and some of these people arrived at 4.30 a.m. Most of them were well protected against the cold, damp weather which prevailed."
