Men are working to right a railway carriage, on the banks of the Manawatu Gorge. The derailment of the freight train, engine KA951, killed two of the three crew, driver B Craighead and Fireman R Hoskins. The Guard, R Maitland, escaped. Railworker on far right is Tom Lang/Laing. Man on far right in group of three on bank may be Douglas King.
