The buildings were, from left: the Ready Money Store; Mrs Morley's millinery shop and registry office for servants; Mr W Anderson, tailor; Mr Venn, furniture shop; Mr T Wray, saddler (est 1875); Mr A Petersen, grocer; The Club Hote (on the opposite side of the Church Street East corner).
