A 650mm tall carved and painted wooden mask from Papua New Guinea. The mask was donated to the Palmerston North City Council (PNCC) by Mea Paul Toua, Associate City Treasurer, Port Moresby City Council, Papua New Guinea in June 1977. Mr Toua visited New Zealand under the Commonwealth Education Scheme and spent four weeks with the PNCC City Treasurer's Department.
