This image was not published in The Manawatu Evening Standard, taken on 18 January, 1964. "Mr Emanuel Anderson, aged 83, was admitted to the Palmerston North Public Hospital yesterday afternoon suffering from extensive head injuries received when the two cars pictured here were badly damaged in a collision at the corner of Broadway and the Square at about 4 p.m. Mr Anderson, whose condition in hospital this morning was described as satifactory, was the driver of one of the cars. The other driver was Mrs Helen Margaret Corkindale, of 174 Church Street." Another image of the car was published on 18 January, 1964.
