73 Russell Street
- Description
House at 73 Russell Street (at that time No 50) that William Chapman had built before he retired from farming in 1925. This picture shows the house a few months after completion and by now occupied, together with distinctive street-side fencing – a design that has been kept to the present day. William had bought adjacent Lots 19 and 20 of Section 243, the house being sited on Lot 19 and while Lot 20 (to the left in the picture) was used to create a garden.
