This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 19 March, 1959. "In rain yesterday afternoon, an R.A.F. Hastings landed at Ohakea bringing with it General Sir Richard Hull, the Commander-in-Chief of the Far East Land Forces. He was accompanied by Lady Hull. The photograph shows the General disembarking from his aircraft."
