This image was taken for a story that ran in The Manawatu Evening Standard on 21 March 1958, page 6: "Seen in the Ohakea officers' mess yesterday after their arrival in the Hastings which brought Air Chief Marshal the Hon. Sir Ralph Cochrane are, from left: Lieutenant L. Williams of the R.N.Z.S.A.S., Squadron Leader R.D. Mullins, Commanding Officer of the Far East Air Force Parachute Training School at Changi, Singapore, and Major F. Rennie, Commander of the N.Z.S.A.S. Both of the New Zealanders will be jumping on March 29, during the Air Force Day celebrations."
