Sanson School memorial gates located along State Highway 1 North on the outskirts of Sanson.
Memorial gates are marble tablets on the front and side of concrete pillars. Major General C W Melvill, General Officer commanding New Zealand Defence Forces, unveiled the memorial gate on Sunday, 31 August 1924. There are a total of 50 names on multiple tablets.
